Division 42 Grievance Policy for Continuing Education.
If you have a grievance with any part of your CE experience within Division 42 please contact Jeannie Beeaff, Division 42 Central Office, 919 W Marshall Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85013. div42apa@cox.net 602 284 6219 phone, 602 626 7914 fax. Every effort will be made to work through the issue. The Division 42 Policy is as follows:
Grievance: The Continuing Education Committee serves as a grievance panel for resolving any disputes or dissatisfaction which might be generated by CE participants. The dispute resolution mechanism is as follows: The aggrieved party will be offered the opportunity to present a written statement of the nature of the grievance and the desired outcome (e.g. refund of fees, awarding of withheld credits, etc.) The CE provider will be permitted an opportunity to comment in writing on the petition. The aggrieved party will be provided a copy of the response and be permitted a final set of written comments on the response. All three documents will be reviewed by the CE Committee, which shall then render a finding and take appropriate action. The CE Committee's actions shall only be subject to an appeal to the Division 42 Board of Directors upon an allegation that these procedures were not followed, or if the aggrieved party's complaints are not against the CE provider, but against the CE Committee itself. In the latter case, the Division 42 Board of Directors will serve as the hearing body.
