2)  Diversity; in all its forms as relevant to membership in the Division,

leadership in the Division, training independent practitioners for

outreach and providing effective services to those of diverse backgrounds.

Outreach to Divisions 44 and 45 along with interdivisional collaboration to

achieve the above.

4)  Advancing the independent practice of psychology. Activities by Division 42 as well as collaboration with, and coordination of activities, with other divisions and other organizations committed to advancing independent practice.

Review the Updated Priorities Report (see other document attached). The original

document was developed by the priorities task force (Jean Carter, Mike Murphy,

Bonnie Markham, and Jeff Barnett) in conjunction with the Division’s five-year

review three years ago. Jean Carter and Jeff Barnett have now updated it to include

all of the Division’s ongoing activities. Review of this document provides an

update on the health and functioning of the Division and lays the groundwork for

planning the next five-year review in 2006.

         In Touch With 42

to study this and report back to the Board? What is Division 42’s role, what are

these other groups’ roles, how can we not work at cross-purposes with them and not

         be redundant.

Carter, Melba Vasquez. No Rosalee Weiss Award this year. Distinguished

comment on (President Barnett to appoint if needed).

         Practitioner Income.
