Dealing with Difficult Depression is a 2-hour tape recording of a live lecture. It is a very pragmatic, practical guide for what to do when. It is chocked full of clinical examples and rules of thumb. It is an invaluable aide in helping psychologists sort out depressions with medical or medication complications, Axis II features, chemical dependency issues, dysthymia, and secondary gains. The presenter is knowledgeable and engaging. I loved this tape and wondered why I didn’t get this kind of information in graduate school. he EMSC field.

The tape is quite worthwhile on its own. It can also be used for 2 hours of continuing education credits in most states. PsychoEducational Resources, Inc., 1-800-892-9249, $19.95 for the tape and $19.95 for the CE test and credits. (PER has other CEU cassette and book titles as well.)
