		Richard Saunders, Ph.D., Chair Publications and Communications Committee			Opening for 42 Internet Associate Editor The Publications and Communications Committee of Division 42, is initiating a search for an Internet Associate Editor. The work required is mostly coordinated initially through the Internet Editor, Rona LoPresti, Ph.D. The term is for 3 years (2000 - 20003), after which the Associate Editor will become the Internet Editor. Tasks involved include guidance and consultation with the Division governance about on-line Division activities, such as the listserv and the webpage. Technical proficiency in computer-related communications is helpful, but it is not essential to have mastered all technological skills at first. For reimbursement purposes, the IAE is treated as a Committee Chair of the Division. Meetings are limited to two per year, usually at APA and the spring Division gathering. Other meetings are usually held by conference call. The IAE is an ex officio member of the Publications and Communications Committee, and a principal function of the IAE is to assist in drafting policy on Division internet activities of all kinds. Time commitment we estimate as approximately 4 hours per week, which will mostly consist of coordination of on-line announcements of professional activities of the Division, review of Internet submissions, and assistance with website development.
