Dear Division 42 Colleagues and Friends, The Board of Directors of Division 42 has unanimously endorsed Katherine C. Nordal, Ph.D. in the 2005 election for APA President. We strongly encourage all Division 42 members to vote in this election and to give their first place vote to Katherine Nordal. We further encourage members to give their second and third place votes to Thomas J. Vaughn and Stephen A. Ragusea in the order of their preference. Ballots will be mailed on September 15th. Heiser Presidential Award for Advocacy is presented annually by the APA President to those psychologists who have given voluntarily of their time to define the discipline of psychology statutorily by state and federal laws through advocacy.
