Welcome to Students/Early Career Psychologists to Our "42 Family"
It has been a very exciting time for our Division opening our 42 home to you. We have (many plans to incorporate you into our Division. As you may know, you will be receiving a copy of The Independent Practitioner which is published four times a year. This publication is filled with articles relevant to the current issues in private practice and is considered to be one of the highest quality newsletters produced. With this letter, you received the latest issue.
The student/young professionals will be able to partake in the Division mentoring program which is being devised. Your suggestions are welcomed. What is planned now is the following:
- For upcoming conventions we will be having a track of presentations for student/young professional which will cover content areas in the field and marketing (see 42 web page)
- We will have a list of mentors, hopefully one in your state who you can contact personally with questions about our Division.
- You can become active on a committee by contacting Jeannie Beeaff (our administrator) at (602) 246-6768 or div42apa@mindspring.com and she will give you the contact person.
- You have access to our content and marketing tools which can be purchased through our administrator (see our web page).
A future goal is to be able to provide small seminars on a local level by the mentors in your state for our student/young professionals. If you have a friend or colleague that would be interested in becoming part of our 42 family, please tell them about joining our division. They can call our administrator at the above number or come here to our web site.
